Owner Colin Alder was part owner and installation foreman at Bauhaus from 1988-1998. With the closing of Bauhaus in 2002, we purchased all of the production tooling and related equipment. We manufacture docks and dock hardware right here in Muskoka, with Canadian-made materials and the same pride in quality and workmanship that is synonymous with the Bauhaus name. We not only build pipe and floating docks, we also custom build shoreline decks, steel pile docks, suspension docks and boathouses. We carry a wide variety of hardware - from leg holders for pipe docks to recessed cleats and ladders - for do-it-yourselfers to purchase. All hardware is manufactured by Innovative Docking Systems.
